It turns out that school and life get in the way of being Klaine historians. We really hate to see this blog go, but it really got to be too much for us.

We are going to leave this up though, for memories sake. And hey, if any of you want to attempt something like this or continue where we left off, feel free. Send us a message if you want to take over, and we can set you up.

Burt Hummel: Father of the Year

These deserve to all be looked at together, since they all came from Episode 2.15 and all-around BAMF Burt Hummel. Specifically, his sex talk with Kurt. It began when spoiler pictures for the episode were released, including one with Burt holding pamphlets. We began to speculate on potential titles, knowing Glee’s history of creative pamphlet-naming. Then the episode happened, and we were able to jump on Burt’s “You Matter” as a new way of saying “Courage”, “What went down in the tent” for any sort of innuendo, and his offer to make toast as something to do after sex.

No less than one day after the creation of the Handerson Fourgy came the creation of Kurt and Blaine’s herp-derping triplet brothers…

While Cameron and Everett either date each other or their twins, Oggbert and Hukurt are sort of the forgotten oddball triplets who live in the attic and eat eggs.

So we know we’ve been slow in updating for the past couple of weeks, and that’s mostly because we’re both finishing up school. But fear not, we should both be done and back to being historians by the end of the week.

March 11, 2011: Jenga and the Sounds of The Warblers

The Sounds of the Warblers? No, it’s not one of those white noise CDs you put on to help you sleep. It’s the groovy background vocals laid down by the a capell-icious Tufts Beelzebubs.

Take a listen to ‘Raise Your Glass’ (above for your listening pleasure) and pay close attention to the background. Sounds like a certain game involving blocks in formation? And cue graphics wizards photoshopping Jenga towers and Klaine.

In the final coffee shop scene of the Valentine’s Day episode, Kurt says “It’ll be like When Harry Met Sally, except I get to be Meg Ryan” to which Blaine replies, “Deal. But don’t they get together in the end” Thusly renewing hope that Klaine was in fact happening regardless of Junior Managers that may come between them and confirming that the best relationships start out as friends.

(We’re setting the date for this as December 1, because that’s when Pav was introduced on the show and the account began. The comics only started recently though.)

Pavarotti is the real life Warbler given to Kurt when he joined the Warblers. But when we talk about him on Tumblr, we’re usually referring to the FreePav twitter account.

You’ll find lots of what you need to know in themoonsunandme’s post, especially about the belief held by many of us that it was Darren Criss running the account (at least part of the time). The fandom bonded over Pavarotti and his tweets, and we are convinced that he is a total BAMF.  When we found out that Pav was going to die in Original Songs, we all mourned. 

As it turns out, we found out on Wednesday March 23 from Warbler Dominic Barnes that the person behind the Twitter account is a Beelzebub from Boston. We’re still impressed that he had trolled us all so well and got us all to bond.
